Should people be encouraged to homeopathy first?

The principles of homeopathy run contrary to modern science. Modern homeopaths have tried to justify the law of similars by comparing it to the effectiveness of vaccines - which involve giving small doses of an infectious pathogen to prevent a later infection. However,do you think this analogy is apt? Vaccines involve measurable doses of weakened or killed organisms and operate a known mechanism - they trigger an immune response. Do you feel there is any anology for homeopathic treatments? I don't think so.
Homeopaths today use dilutions of substances which essentially remove all traces of the substance from the final dilution. But is there even a single molecule of the original drug in the final remedy which is given to the patient? No I don't think so. And for this, the homeopaths conclude that the substance is transferring it's essence to the water into which it is diluted. The more it is diluted, the more potent is the water. Do you think they offer any possible explanation for, how, simple water molecules can contain the essence of far more complex substances? The answer is no,of course. Homeopathy is no more effective than placebo (inactive treatment)
Homeopathy is highly implausible and should not work. And,when we carefully study homeopathic remedies, they in fact,do not work.
Given that most homeopathic remedies contain little (if any) actual ingredients beyond sugar and water,it is unlikely that any direct harm could come from taking them. Remedies preparation made in an improper manner made from toxic material could pose some risk.
Homeopathy's most significant risk is that it most often delays the use of truly effective medical treatment and proper scientific diagnosis. Death, unnecessary injury, and even disability can result by taking homeopathy.
